Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the rich and flavorful Portuguese dishes served at A Tasca, especially the succulent roast chicken. The warm ambiance combined with friendly service creates a homely feel that keeps people coming back.

The availability of both Portuguese Super Bock beer and fresh Sangria on tap is a delightful surprise, making visits even more enjoyable, especially in good weather. Desserts like the authentic pastel de nata leave a lasting impression, often mentioned in glowing reviews. Additionally, the café’s strong coffee and diverse tea selection also earn many fans, perfectly rounding out the offerings.

Most Disliked

While the overall feedback on A Tasca is overwhelmingly positive, some guests have mentioned that during busier times, service can slow down. This is particularly noticeable on Sundays around 1 PM, when the café reaches full capacity.

Another feedback point relates to the limited menu options for those seeking vegetarian or vegan choices, though the existing healthy options are still noted positively. Patrons suggest that expanding these offerings could enhance the experience for those with dietary restrictions.

One of the best Portuguese restaurants I have found in the UK.My British boyfriend was delighted with his portuguese style pork and his dessert. They Have super bock and delta café, great! Homemade food, homemade deserts. Staff friendly like we Portuguese are. I'll return if i need a stop while traveling to the airport for sure.
